Samsung’s New Smartphone Galaxy S10 Will Have Bitcoin and Ethereum Support

A Samsung official announced the phone’s new features at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain on Feb. 25. The presentation also revealed that Samsung is working on various crypto and blockchain related projects to feature them on their smartphone, including support for Bitcoin, Ethereum, COSMEE token (COSM) and Enjin’s token (ENJ).

As for Samsung’s new phones, reports surface suggests that blockchain and crypto integration might be in the pipeline. However, in  December 2018, Samsung dismissed the idea of an integrated crypto wallet as “rumour and speculation.” While the leaked photographs of the new smartphone, that surfaced in January suggests that the Galaxy S10 would support an Ethereum wallet.

Apart from Samsung, another consumer electronics giant, HTC is also joining the ball game. Just today, the blockchain-centric smartphone Exodus by HTC, announced its partnership with Opera Browser and added support for multiple DApps. Further, the company announced support for Etheremon and Decentraland DApps. Reportedly, Exodus will reportedly support a Taiwanese  DApp called Numbers.
