The Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA), opens a regional office in Seoul, South Korea, and appoints Joonho, QraftEther Inc.’s CEO and Co-founder, as the EEA’s Regional Head.
EEA is a member-led industry organization that aims at empowering the use of Ethereum blockchain technology. The organisation, which has a Tokyo regional office and a Seoul one under Joonho Park (ethereum blockchain leader), aims to accelerate global adoption of EEA standards and certification programs. Park stated in the announcement:
“Korea is realizing the potential of Enterprise Ethereum blockchain and the EEA quickly. It is an honor to work with the EEA leadership to support regional members as well as companies interested in learning more about the standards-based approach of the EEA. The EEA is well-positioned to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the Korean government’s investment in blockchain technology. I look forward to working with regional and international firms that are looking for business results using Enterprise Ethereum and EEA standards.
Park will be the region’s regional head of Korean office, and his job description will make him the ideal evangelist. Park will be responsible for ensuring that regional members have access the EEA Specifications as well as other resources from EEA members. Park will also be participating in hackathons, workshops and training sessions at local conferences to help promote the adoption of EEA standards.
Park is a formidable profile but Park will be able handle it. This is all due to his expertise and experience as co-founder and CEO at QraftEther. QraftEther is a pioneering Enterprise Ethereum blockchain company and EEA Member providing innovative BIoT-based solution in the region.
Ron Resnick, Executive Director of the EEA, stated:
“Korea has one of the fastest-growing and dynamic blockchain markets. We are delighted to welcome Joonho Park, a blockchain business leader, to our new hub. This is due to the large EEA membership base. His more than 30 years of technology experience combined with his knowledge in Enterprise Ethereum blockchain make Joonho Park the ideal leader to help us grow our blockchain initiatives here in Korea. I urge members and companies from the region to contact Joonho in order to learn more about how to use EEA’s standards and working groups as well as global resources.
