The Bitcoin price began a significant decline from the USD 47,000 mark. BTC fell below the USD 45,000. support zone. At 04:40 UTC, it is down nearly 8% and trading close to USD 42,000.
Similarly, most major altcoins declined sharply. ETH traded below USD 3,800 support and USD 3,750 resistance levels. XRP fell below the USD 0.80 support. ADA experienced bearish momentum below USD 1.30 support.
Bitcoin price
After a strong rejection at USD 47,500, Bitcoin price began a new decline. BTC traded below USD 46,000 and US 45,500 levels. Even below the USD 43 500 support zone, the bears pushed the price. The price reached USD 42,500 and is currently consolidating losses of USD 42,900. Surprisingly, the USD 44,000 mark is the first hurdle. The USD 44,500 level is the first major resistance. If this price rises, it could accelerate.
A support level of USD 42,800 is the initial support. Near USD 42,500 is the next support level, below which price could fall again.
Ethereum price
Ethereum price began a significant decline below USD 3,700. The USD 3,500 level was clearly below which ETH fell 10%. The price is consolidating its losses and has a support level below USD 3,450. Near USD 3,400 is the next support, below which price could reach USD 3,300.
The USD 3,550 level is the immediate resistance. The next hurdle is close to USD 3,580. If this price rises, it could reach USD 3,700.
ADA, BNB and SOL prices.
Cardano – fell almost 10%, and the USD 1.30 level was a sharp drop. It is currently consolidating at the USD 1.22 level. A fall below USD 1.22 could trigger a move towards USD 1.20, or even USD 1.18.
Binance Coin (BNB) fell 10%, and broke below the USD480 support level. The USD 455 support level is the immediate support, while the USD 450 support level is the key. A move towards USD 432 might be necessary if there are more losses.
Solana fell 12%, and the price dropped sharply below USD 165 support. It is currently consolidating below USD 150. It could fall further towards USD 132 if it closes below this level.
DOGE is moving at a slower pace than the USD 0.1262 support. The USD 0.150 support is approaching. The price could fall towards USD 0.132 if the bears continue to act.
XRP price fell 9%, and moved below the USD 0.80 mark. Support is located near USD 0.750. The price could fall towards USD 0.720 if there is a downside breakout below USD 0.750.
Altcoins are also available today
Altcoins like ICP, AXS and XTZ are all up more than 10%, as is VLX, CRV, LRC and VLX. ICP fell 18% and broke USD 30, reducing its weekly gains by 24%. Only LEO (less than 1%) is up among the 100 top cryptoassets according to market capitalization.
Bitcoin price is showing bearish momentum, below USD 44,000. BTC could move towards USD 42,000 if it fails to recover.
