Chainlink (LINK) is Band Protocol’s closest competitor. Taking a look at the two assets market capitalizations, Chainlink (LINK) ranks 6th largest by market cap while Band Protocol ranks 50th largest by market cap with a market cap of $244 million. The huge gap between the market cap indicates that BAND still has massive room for growth.
Looking at the network functionality, Chainlink’s network is operational at the moment, unlike Band Protocol which is still rolling out its mainnet.

The extent of Band’s growth may be yet uncertain but Chainlink being 25 times larger than Band in terms of market cap implies that Band has enormous growth potential.
