FTX, one the most popular cryptocurrency exchanges worldwide, and West Realm Shires Services Inc. (the firm behind FTX’s subsidiary in the United States), signed a partnership with Aaron Jones, an NFL running back. Jones, an NFL running back, will be an ambassador for FTX. He also purchased an equity stake.

“I intend to invest a portion my future marketing earnings into cryptocurrency and other blockchain assets through the FTX US Exchange. My brother and I will be shareholders in FTX via Showtyme Ventures, LLC. This is my family’s investment vehicle that invests in legendary entrepreneurs who are committed to making a difference in the world, putting equal emphasis on impact as shareholder returns. Jones expressed excitement about the long-term deal.

The Green Bay Packers running back will be compensated in cryptos as part of the partnership. Jones became the first player in history to score four touchdowns during Monday Night Football games. This feat was accomplished against the Detriot Lions on Sept 20.

Jones Charity will accept crypto donations
Aaron and I met for the first time when we were introduced. It was obvious that Aaron shared the same values that FTX was founded upon, which is to make a lasting, positive impact on the world. FTX is delighted to have Aaron join us to help us bring the crypto world into mainstream acceptance and adoption,” Brett Harrison (President of FTX US) stated in the announcement. Jones’ charity A&A All the Way will also integrate the FTXPay platform into the site in order to accept donations in virtual currencies.

This partnership follows a week in which FTX signed a deal to partner with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team.
