For the past week, the crypto community has been eyeing the Bitcoin Cash [BCH] update and on November 15, as a result of opposing hard forks and opinion the Bitcoin Cash network split into two, the Bitcoin Cash ABC and Bitcoin Cash SV. Roger Ver, who choose to support Bitcoin Cash ABC states that Monero or Dash could also become a world currency.
Ver, acknowledged the right between the parties within the BCH network in conversation with Crypto Coin Trader, he said:
“The internet has a lot of good people and lots of bad people. I only tend to engage with the good ones.”
The Chief Executive Officer of Bitcoin.com also expressed his pleasure over the Bitcoin Cash hard fork, where the ABC team had the lead over the SV team. He stated:
“I stayed up all night watching the fork. It was like Christmas night for me.”
He further elaborates that loyalty is towards if cryptocurrencies, and he would not mind if Monero or Dash was also accepted as a world currency. Claiming that his key agenda is to provide economic freedom to the people, and at the moment Bitcoin Cash was the best token to do so. According to Ver, the fork is a good thing, he said:
“I wish the bch-btc split had occurred earlier. If the fork had happened had happened before then Bitcoin Cash could have had a multitude more use cases.”
Referring to his news-making comment about Bitcoin.com launching a cryptocurrency exchange, Ver said:
“Most of the time I say something important and nobody really cares. Other times I mention something in passing and the idea of the exchange was said exactly like that. Of course, we are going to launch an exchange, we are Bitcoin Cash. It would be highly surprising if we don’t launch an exchange.”
