IBM’s new app is called “Thank My Farmer” and is created in partnership with Farmer Connect, a firm that already uses the IBM blockchain. IBM and Farm Connect did the unveiling at the recent Consumer Electronics Show which took place in Las Vegas.
Also, with this new offering, the process of coffee making from start to finish becomes a lot more transparent. The process is normally a long one and consumers need to rest assured about what they are consuming. The app will be released sometime this year.
